How to crop a picture
Open an image and a crop box appears. Drag inside the box to move it, or drag any of the eight handles to resize it. If you need an exact size, type the X, Y, width and height in pixels. When it looks right, press Download.
Which aspect ratio for which site?
- 1:1: profile pictures, Instagram posts, avatars and icons.
- 16:9: YouTube thumbnails, desktop wallpapers and slides.
- 9:16: phone wallpapers, Stories, Reels and TikTok.
- 4:3 / 3:4: classic photo prints and tablets.
- 2:3: posters, Pinterest pins and book covers.
PNG, JPG or WebP?
PNG keeps every pixel and transparency, which suits screenshots and illustrations. JPG is best for photos and works everywhere. WebP gives the smallest files for websites. Use the rotate and flip buttons first if your photo is sideways or mirrored.
Are my images uploaded?
No. Everything happens inside your own browser, so your pictures never leave your device. It even keeps working if you go offline after the page loads.
