Pomodoro timer

Focus for one session, then take a break. The timer moves on to the next phase by itself.

Durations

What is the Pomodoro Technique?

The Pomodoro Technique splits work into short, focused sessions (traditionally 25 minutes) separated by 5-minute breaks. After every four sessions you take a longer break of 15 to 30 minutes. Short, fixed sessions make it easier to start a task and harder to drift off into distractions.

How this timer works

Press Start to begin a focus session. When it ends, a chime plays and the break starts on its own; turn off auto-start if you would rather press Start each time. The dots show where you are in the cycle and the counter shows how many sessions you have finished today. Your durations are saved in this browser.

Notifications

Turn on notifications to get a desktop alert when a phase ends, even if this tab is hidden. The browser only asks for permission when you press the button.
