    What is a good CPS?

Most people click 6 to 7 times per second with a normal click. Around 8 to 10 CPS is fast, and techniques like jitter clicking or butterfly clicking can push past 12 CPS. Short tests (1 or 5 seconds) measure burst speed; 30 and 60 seconds test stamina, and your CPS usually drops as your hand tires.

    How to click faster

Rest your wrist on the desk, tense your forearm slightly and let the finger vibrate instead of lifting it. With butterfly clicking you alternate two fingers on the same button. On a phone, tapping with two thumbs in turn counts too: every touch is a click.

    Is my mouse double-clicking?

If your CPS jumps far above your normal score, or single clicks register twice, your mouse switch may be wearing out. Click slowly and watch the click counter: it should go up by exactly one each time.
