How to record your screen
Tick the audio options you want, then press Start recording. Your browser asks what to share: the entire screen, a single window, or a browser tab. Recording starts as soon as you pick one, with a live preview and a timer. Pause and resume as often as you like, and press Stop (or the browser's own Stop sharing button) to finish. The video appears below, ready to play back and download.

In Chrome and Edge, sharing a tab lets you include that tab's audio, and on Windows you can include system audio when sharing the whole screen; tick the “Share audio” box in the browser's picker. Firefox and Safari record picture only from the screen, but you can still add your microphone for narration. The microphone and screen audio are mixed into one track.
Which devices can record?
Screen recording works in desktop Chrome, Edge, Firefox, Opera and Safari on Windows, macOS, Linux and ChromeOS. Phones and tablets do not let web pages capture the screen, so on iPhone, iPad and Android use the built-in screen recording from Control Center or Quick Settings. MP4 plays almost everywhere; WebM is smaller and opens in browsers, VLC and most video editors. If a WebM file will not seek in your player, open it in a browser or convert it with any free converter.
