How to use it
Paste XML into the box. The table lists every element and attribute with its path, so order/items/item[2]@sku is the sku attribute of the second item. Tick Show full paths to see the whole path on every row, which is handy when you copy the table into a spreadsheet. On the right you can switch between JSON and neatly indented XML, then copy or download either one.
The “Reads as” column
- Dates: compact stamps such as
20261030143736are shown as 2026-10-30 14:37:36. - Unix time: 10- or 13-digit numbers in a plausible range are converted to your local time.
- ISO dates with a time zone are converted to your local time.
- Links show their domain, and JSON stored inside a value is marked as JSON.
Tips
- When tag names are codes like
T556201, their meaning is set by whoever sent the data. Look at the values and the “Reads as” column to work out which field is which. - A fragment with several top-level elements, text around the XML, or escaped XML (
<tag>) from a log is still read. - In the JSON, attributes start with
@, mixed text goes in#text, and repeated elements become arrays.
