How does fancy text work?
Unicode, the standard behind all text on computers, contains several complete alphabets of styled letters that were made for mathematics, such as 𝐛𝐨𝐥𝐝, 𝑖𝑡𝑎𝑙𝑖𝑐, 𝓈𝒸𝓇𝒾𝓅𝓉 and 𝔣𝔯𝔞𝔨𝔱𝔲𝔯, plus circled and squared letters. This generator swaps each letter for its styled twin, so the result is plain text that you can paste almost anywhere: Instagram and TikTok bios, Discord nicknames, game names and X posts.
Which characters change?
Only the English letters A–Z, a–z and (in some styles) the digits 0–9 have styled versions. Chinese, Japanese, emoji and other characters pass through unchanged, so you can mix them freely. Frame styles such as ꧁ wings ꧂ and ★彡 shooting star 彡★ work with any language.
Tips for using fancy text
Screen readers often read styled letters one by one or skip them, and search engines may not match them, so keep important words such as your real name or shop name in normal text. A few older phones may show some styles as empty boxes.
Is my text private?
Yes. Everything runs in your browser. Nothing you type here is sent to any server.
