How to play Big Two
Each of the four players gets 13 cards. Whoever holds the 3♣ starts, and the first play must include it. Going around, each player either beats the current play with the same number of cards or passes. When the other three all pass, the last player to play starts a new trick with anything they like. The first player to empty their hand wins the round.
Card order from low to high is 3, 4, 5 … K, A, 2, and suits break ties: ♠ > ♥ > ♦ > ♣. You can play a single, a pair, a triple or a five-card hand. Five-card hands rank straight < flush < full house < four of a kind (plus any card) < straight flush. Straights rank by their top card; A-2-3-4-5 and 2-3-4-5-6 are the two biggest, and runs that wrap past the 2 (like J-Q-K-A-2) are not straights. Flushes compare their highest card, full houses their triple and four of a kind their four.
Controls and scoring
Tap cards to pick them up and the play button shows what hand you have. Hint cycles through every play you can make right now, starting with the ones that keep your other combinations together. When a round ends, each loser pays one point per card left: double for 10 or more cards, triple for all 13. The winner collects the total, and the scoreboard keeps adding up until you reset it.
Tips
Plan your hand as a set of combos and get rid of low singles early. Save your 2s and big hands to take control of a trick, then lead with whatever is hardest for you to play later. When someone is down to one card, lead pairs or five-card hands, or play your highest single — the computer players do the same to you!
