How to play FreeCell
All 52 cards are dealt face up into eight columns. Build the four foundations at the top right from Ace to King, one suit each. In the columns, build down in alternating colors — a red 6 on a black 7. The four free cells at the top left each hold one card while you dig. Any card can go into an empty column.
Moving groups and deal numbers
You can move an ordered group of cards in one go when there is enough room to do it one card at a time: the limit is (free cells + 1) doubled for each empty column. Cards that are no longer needed on the table go to the foundations by themselves. Every deal has a number — type one in to replay the same game as on classic desktop versions, or share it with a friend and compare times.
Controls and tips
Drag cards, or tap a card to send it to the best spot; double-click sends it straight to a foundation. Hint suggests a move, and undo works as many times as you like. Try to free the Aces and twos early, keep at least one free cell open, and empty a column whenever you can — empty columns are worth more than free cells.
